Our Team

John Kerper, FSA, MAAA

John Kerper’s practice focuses on providing actuarial services to companies which insure and/or administer vehicle service contracts and related products, including “GAP” and other F&I products. John is considered an industry expert in the field of F&I products and has written several papers on pricing and the analysis of liabilities of these products. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars on these topics. He has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 1987.

Lee Bowron, ACAS, MAAA

Lee Bowron’s practice focuses on extended warranty, F&I products, personal and commercial lines, and environmental reserving.

Lee has been in the insurance industry since 1990 and has been a consultant since 2001. Previously, he was the Chief Actuary for The General auto insurance. He has written articles on GAP insurance, Vehicle Service Contracts and other topics for journals and magazines, including Best’s Review.

He ​is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Don Manis, FCAS, MAAA

Don Manis’ practice focuses primarily on pricing and reserving analysis for P&C personal lines, especially Personal Auto and Home owners.

Don has been in the actuarial profession since 1987 and was the Chief P/C Actuary for Alfa Insurance from 1994 through 2019. During his career, his professional contributions have included service on several actuarial committees including PCI, American Agricultural Insurance Company, and the Georgia Underwriting Association.

He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Andrew Kerper, ACAS, ASA, MAAA.

Andrew Kerper’s practice focuses on providing actuarial services to companies that insure and/or administer vehicle service contracts and other extended warranties. Andrew has been in the insurance industry since 2012. He has been an associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2016. He has also been an associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society since 2017.
